"I have been going to Sue’s Pilates class for nearly four years and never a Tuesday goes by without me looking forward to her class. Firstly because Sue is a very skilled teacher who is able, intuitively, to understand the individual needs of her class and adjust her lesson to meet them. Secondly, on a personal level I have noticed a significant improvement in the strength of my core, my breathing and my posture. Finally it’s important to know that Sue’s classes are fun and a real sense of camaraderie has grown amongst us all. Thank you Sue" - Gill Metcalf, Frayssinet Le Gelat, France. (November 2015)
"I am sorry I cannot write such a good literate letter in English but I am so glad that I have found Pilates and You as a professor. Today and now for 5 weeks I had to help my good friend, who has terrible back problems, to move in a big house. I packed sacks and put them in the first or second floor, often very heavy things, but never I had problem with my back, I have learned to do it with my core muscles. I am so glad I have found my force again. Thank you for your kindness, and your friendship.....and that you are such a skilled teacher. I am sure to see you again to follow Pilates classes. I wish you a very good New Year" - Rosemarie Ulrich, Swiss and living in Villefranche. (January 2016)
"Sue has helped me enormously this year: knee replacement surgery left me unable to kneel, or to get down on the floor and get up. I feared falling over and being unable to stand up again.
At the first one-to-one session Sue taught me how to overcome this problem using Pilates’ roll-down, so this summer I could sit on the beach, whereas last year I had to stand up and watch my family enjoying themselves.
After a few more individual sessions Sue reckoned I could join a drop-in group, and I think the exercises benefit me enormously, and I hope that given time I might learn to perform them half competently.
As I live in the south of the Lot I have a 45 minute drive to Salviac, and I know of classes nearer, but Sue’s friendliness, humour and empathy make the journey worthwhile" - Wendy Fowler, The Lot. December 2016)
